סיפורן האישי של נשים נמסר בתוך המשפחה ובחלוף השנים, הסיפורים נשכחו ואבדו. תיעוד יוצא דופן שנשאר בארכיון המשפחה ובו האוטוביוגרפיה שכתב אחיה שלום אלדאודי וצרור המכתבים בערבית ששלחה נעמי לאחיה, אפשר להתוות את דרך חייה ותפיסת עולמה של נעמי אלדאודי ( 1880-1954 ), בת לאליטה הספרדית ממוצא צפון־אפריקאי בארץ ישראל, נולדה וגדלה בצפת ובצידון, נישאה בפורט סעיד. בראשית המאה ה־ 20 והיגרה לבואנוס איירס בשנת 1913.

The personal stories of women are often told within the family and are eventually forgotten and lost over the years. Exceptional documentation found in the archives of the Eldaudi family, including the autobiography of her brother, Shalom Eldaudi, as well as a bundle of letters, written in Arabic, portray the magnificent journey and the perception of a unique woman who belonged to the North African Sephardi elite, born and raised in Safed and Sidon, got married in Port Saeed in Egypt and eventually emigrated to Buenos Aires in 1913.
